I am happily married with 3 daughters (13, 15, & 17). I attended SVCC and then continued on to Longwood University and obtained my Masters Degree in Biology and Environmental Science. I also played softball for Longwood while I was a student there. I also taught there for 2 years but am presently settled in a fulltime teaching position at Central Virginia Comm. College. Believe it or not, I actually received the "Outstanding Faculty Award" for 2012. However, I have to give most of the credit to the awesome students in my env. class that helped me build a nature trail / outdoor classroom on the campus that is now being used for outdoor instruction and lab time. Most of my free time is spent with my wonderful husband and/or with my 3 girls or other family members. I have been blessed to be healthy enough to continue in sports and coach my girls in volleyball and softball. I have recently just gotten them interested in whitewater canoeing and kayaking, the other love of my life, and we spend lots of time outdoors on the river.

I can't wait to see all of my friends I ditched in order to skip a year of high school and graduate early. Really regret not graduating with you guys! I attended my 1982 graduation year reunion but missed all my real friends from high school that I spent so much class time and game time with. I'm sure it's going to be a blast!
